Detail Business Plan Competition

Winners Receive Prizes from Business Plan Competition
One of IADE’s most important roles is to help create an entrepreneurial culture in Timor-Leste – by sparking people’s interest in business issues and helping them see business and self-employment as positive career options.
Since 2013, our popular annual Business Competition Plan has reached hundreds of Timorese, encouraging them to come up with innovative business ideas and providing training on basic business principles.
The Business Competition Plan is open to all Timorese between the ages of 17 and 45, and entries come from all over Timor-Leste.
The main objective of the Business Competition Plan program is to provide assistance to Timorese entrepreneurs, especially young people, in identifying business opportunities, screening new ideas and preparing business plans to promote their businesses. The second objective is to stimulate the sustainability of the entrepreneurial culture in Timor-Leste so that it can better grow and contribute to the development of the national economy.
No business experience is necessary. The IADE team will help applicants evaluate and develop their business ideas and provide free training at IADE Dili and in the Municipalities. All applicants will receive constructive feedback and suggestions on how to develop their business ideas. This provides new entrepreneurs with a risk-free way to evaluate a business idea and the opportunity to build their own lives in interesting businesses.
